First of all, you should all be happy to know that out favorite team is currently placing second in the European Club Standings! "Big ups" to Milan! Along with placing second, Milan has managed to win twenty of the thirty-three games played; seven other games were tied, and six games were lost. A.C. Milan has also scored a striking sixty-two goals in those games, and only let in twenty-nine. Talk about a rockin' offense and a stone hard defence, huh? Kaka and Pato are leading the team for most goals scored, both placing fourteen goals total. However, Filippo and Ronaldinho are following close behind.

The Two S's!

Soocer and summer, probably two of the world's most favorite things.
Running across the grassy fields, the summer breeze, sweet from the ripe fruit, blowing in your face. Dribbling the ball with the sun blazing on you. Nothing can go wrong, right?
Well, this summer, our two favorite things are coming together. On July 19, 2009, AC Milan will be coming to Los Angeles to play the LA Galaxy! It will be the game of the year, but who will win? I, myself, am a fan of BOTH teams. It's only a friendly match, but the stadium is bound to be filled. It also just happens to be AC Milan's newest payer, David Beckham's, former team. I guess we'll all just have to wait to see what happens? See all you Milan, and Galaxy, fans this summer!

Ever scored 300 goals? He has!

He shoots, he scores!
And it's his 300th goal?
Filippo Inzaghi, AC Milan striker/forward, scored his 300th goal at the victorious match vs. Siena. It was scored by merely tapping an assist corner kick from David Beckham. I offer all of my congratulations to him!
Here's some information about our shining star that you may not have known before:
He was born August 9, 1973 in Piacenza, Italy. He plays the forward position and wears the number nine. In the 2008-2009 Italy Serie A, he has so far:
-played sixteen games
-scored seven goals, with zero assists
-started in six games and was used as a substitute ten times
-committed four fouls, and suffered nine
-been given no red or yellow card

Again, congrats to Filippo Inzaghi! It must take hard work, effort, passion, and years of experience to get that far, keep up the great work!

Milan ends March with a Shining VIctory

What a month! March has proven to be a great month for AC Milan as they have won two out of the three games played so far. We are expecting a game Sunday, March 22, but here is a quick summary of March's matches.
Sunday, March 1: Sampdoria vs. AC Milan
Well we can give Milan they're props for this one. This bloody match turned into a loss with an ending score of 2-1, and total of eight yellow cards (four from each team). It's okay Milan, you did your best!
Sunday, March 8: AC Milan vs. Atlanta
Amazing! Milan returns with heads held high and ready to win, leaving the field with a score of 3-0! The crowds went wild for this one, especially during the six saves made by Goal Keeper Christian Abbaiti! Keep up the good work Milan!
Sunday, March 15: Siena vs. AC Milan
Maybe that loss in the beginnig of March was the best thing to happened to our great team. AC Milan proves worthy of a double victory when they take the glory of a 5-1 score. Incredible! Let's just hope they keep up the good work for Sunday's match against Napoli!

What's that; New Player?

David Beckham.
We all know that familiar name, unforgettable accent, and famous bend used to score the winning goal. But is it really true? Has he agreed to stay with A.C. Milan, securing a place on the England national team? Oh, but it is. Our amazing Beckham, after about two years into his five-year contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy, really has come to play with A.C. Milan. Little is known about his new contract, but David Beckham has expressed a great desire to remain with the Italian soccer league.
